Hi Friends,
I had my PET scan on Friday and am anxiously awaiting the results, which I promise to share with you.
While my pancreatitis seems to be resolving—based on my lipase going down—I unfortunately still have a great deal of pain, though far less than before. The treatments are making me very tired, so I don’t have as much energy as I used to to do all the things I want to do. I’ve been spending a lot of time resting, and I’m thankful that the weather is getting warmer so I can rest in the warmth of the sun.
You can see by the photo above that I really protect my face with a full-coverage hat and sunscreen—and I’ve done so ever since I first moved to the desert in January 2019. I find that makes the biggest difference in my skin quality.
Bailey also enjoys sitting out, but I do have to wonder—what the heck does she sit on when I’m not home? 🤣
We had a lot of fun in my Chef AJ & Friends community this week playing Plant-Based Jeopardy, and next week we’re taking a deep dive with Dr. Alan Goldhamer.
