Hello, friends!
Yesterday I returned from Rancho La Puerta, where I spent an entire week celebrating my Medicare birthday! I had the privilege of giving a lecture and teaching three hands-on cooking classes. The week was even more special because I brought a group of 15 people, including two of my besties, Lissa and Nate of Raw Food Romance.
I have only one more group scheduled in the foreseeable future — from July 19–26 — with special guest Dr. Alan Goldhamer. If you are interested in the vacation of a lifetime, there are only a few spots left, so please let us know by April 21. If you’d like to learn more about this magical place, tune in Wednesday (April 2nd) at 2 p.m. Pacific Time when I’ll be sharing more about the week with Lissa and Nate.
Today I’ll be doing laundry and packing for tomorrow’s road trip to Stanford for my second infusion treatment with the immunotherapy drug Keytruda. I have to stay in Palo Alto overnight, so I’m truly grateful to the American Cancer Society for providing a hotel room.
When I return home on Tuesday, I’ll be packing again for Thursday’s road trip to The Stanford Inn, where I’ll be celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary — and the best part is that BOTH Charles and Bailey are going! There’s still time to register for the special Escaping the Pleasure Trap Weekend hosted by me and Dr. Alan Goldhamer: Learn more here!
Thank you all for your continued good thoughts, wishes, cards, emails, prayers, and gifts (not necessary, but greatly appreciated).
Until next week, I hope you do something fun — because if it’s not fun, you’re not doing it right! 🤣

Love & Kale,
Chef AJ
