I’m feeling a little better each day! The worst of the pancreatitis seems to be behind me—the pain is finally easing up—but I’m still pretty wiped out. That said, I’m really looking forward to this week’s two incredible guests: Dr. Michael Greger and Dr. Doug Lisle.
Inside my private community, we’ve got something fun lined up: Plant-Based Jeopardy! Join us for a lighthearted, interactive event that’s sure to test your plant-based knowledge and give us all a good laugh. It’s not too late to join!
I’m also excited to be part of this year’s Raw Vegan Bundle! I’m especially proud of the brand-new recipe I created: RAWthentic black licorice (pictured below)—a treat I’ve missed for over 20 years since going sugar- and gluten-free. It’s low-fat (which is key right now since I can’t have any fat with pancreatitis) and ridiculously easy to make!
I’ll be getting my next scan this Saturday to see if the three Keytruda treatments have had an effect on the tumor. What I’m feeling is what they call scanxiety—nervous anticipation while I wait for the results. I promise to share the outcome, whether it’s good or bad. In the meantime, your prayers and positive thoughts mean the world to me. 🙏
